Just wondering what type of vehicles you guys use to haul your kits around.

Man I use a Fiat Punto.

It's totally reliable, and I can fit in everything I've ever needed in it. Seven Piece kit (theatre gig tour), cymbals, whole electronic rig and suitcase. Mind you, it has to be packed a certain way with the seats folded well down, otherwise you'll never get it in - or out...

I have a Beetle! I can fit a 7 piece Gretsch kit with all the hardware and cymbals with the seats down. Fiber case for the kick, 16, 12, 10, and soft cases for everything else.

I drive an OLD Isuzu Trooper. I have a 7 piece kit with a rack plus extra snares and it works perfectly.

If I can figure out how to post a pic or two, I've got a really cool bumper sticker to show you guys!

Two-door Blazer... whole reason i got the damn thing was cause it was easy to load in and out of the back, with the drop-down tailgate. Well, that was till i backed into a pole and now i can't open the tailgate anymore and i have to load in through the passenger door. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] Snug, but it works (barely). 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Coup?, and believe it or not, I fit a complete 5-piece kit into it regularly (it's my only car).

Damn, i don't think that i could fit the last female vocalist that i worked for into a Carrera... however, the fact that she wouldn't fit is the whole reason i would never try (big girl). [img]eek.gif[/img]

Believe me, I don't recommend it. I really should get a pick-up or some sort of 'beater' car. When it's all packed up, I can't see out the passenger window (bass drum in passenger seat) and barely out the back (hardware bags in back). People have a laugh when they see me hauling my stuff out of it though.

How does your interior handle it?

Well, I've scratched the back of the passenger seat considerably, but other than that, nothing really. All my drums and hardware go into padded soft cases.
